My Thoughts

A beautiful love story of passion and love, curses and family secrets.

With beautiful descriptions and exotic locations the author weaves a heart wrenching tale of love and revenge. The author does a wonderful job of setting the tone of the book and showing the growing love between the characters as well as the hurt and betrayal that is felt.

This story led me on an emotional roller coaster and I loved every minute of it. It was hard to put down as there was so much going on between all of the different characters I had to know what would happen next.

The romance was beautifully done and not over the top. The characters were real and had their own problems and failings that they had to deal with before they got their happy ending. I loved the build up to the romance and how the different feelings both good and bad were explored throughout the story.

Luz was a strong heroine who was used to taking care of herself, but she wasn't afraid of strong feelings. I loved her inquisitive nature and that she didn't let anyone stand in her way of finding out the truth. Her relationship with both Leandro and Andres was intense and full of twists and turns. It was easy to get involved with the mystery of these two men and see how Luz could be torn about the two.

This was an intense romance with a good dose of mystery that I would highly recommend.
